Natalie and Metodij first met in high school and remained friends for over 15 years. While Natalie was living in Portland, she visited Indianapolis for a friend’s wedding where Metodij lived. After grabbing drinks together that weekend they knew something special was there. Metodij couldn’t let Natalie leave Indiana without seeing her one more time. While visiting their parents in NWI, they decided to grab dinner and drinks. While waiting for Metodij to pick her up she was talking to her mother about him and she asked, “Why don’t you date him?” Natalie had already been thinking about it and that gave her the push to talk to Metodij about it. After Metodij picked Natalie up, she mentioned what her mother said to see what his response would be. He replied, “My mom asked me the same thing!” Natalie replied, “So, should we?” Metodij agreed, of course, and they decided on the way to their destination that this would be their first date. Two years later, we're best friends, true loves, and partners in life. We're finally ready to make it official!
